I don’t think any Vikings’ fans were even this optimistic with Mond when he was drafted. Lol

Yeah, Mond does have a very clean release, the ball is a perfect spiral but you can see it in his eyes, he is very afraid and not comfortable at all in the pocket.  Vikings needed a developmental QB and in the 3rd he was a good value.  Not sure if the Browns wanted him to just stay in the pocket or what in that game but he did not move around much.  It was just one game by Thompson-Robinson the rookie looked far more comfortable and calm, loose and played free.  Also made more plays with his legs and more accurate as a passer.  My guess is he takes Mond's spot and Mond is cut again.  Cannot deny his arm talent though, it looks good coming off his hand and has very good velocity but mentally he is not a NFL QB and he is just way too stiff and mentally not strong.  Mond is just not good live under pressure compared to say a pro day workout throwing the ball to unguarded receivers.

It does suck Chris Carter is not on TV anymore, dude is very fun to listen to and was awesome listening to him with football commentary.  Glad he is still connected with the team, that cannot be said with the Timberwolves and Kevin Garnett which is a damn shame!

Still is insane that 1998 roster having so many absolute all time players and Hall of Famers on it, freaking nuts.  Some of the most charismatic, energetic and entertaining players to ever play the game all on that one team.  Specifically Randy Moss, Chris Carter and John Randle obviously.  Then the lower level players but still great personalities in Mike Morris, Chris Walsh, Matt Birk, Jerry Ball, Ed McDaniel, Robert Griffith, Pete Bercich etc.  Insane about of fun personalities on that team!

is Kevin Warren still the commish of the Big Ten?

is he the one responsible for them stealing the Pac 12?

No, his replacement is some guy named Tony Petitti, whose been in the job less than 3 months.  Apparently, he's been a baseball guy, as he was deputy commissioner and COO of MLB.

I think ultimately, they have to blame Larry Scott, the former Pac-12 commissioner, for its current failure.  His tenure set up its demise.
