Mediocre players will certainly look better with those two in the middle, but individually the edge rushers leave much to be desired right now. The Cardinals signed Pugh and are getting Iupati back, so that should stabilize the interior for them to some degree. Not sure what the tackle situation looks like. The Seahawks will have a full year of Duane Brown and let's be honest, it'd be hard to be worse than they were last year. The 49ers added Richburg, get Garnett back, and have Jimmy G for a full season (in 11 games without him, they gave up 35 sacks, over 3 per game, and in the five games with him, with a worse offensive line without Trent Brown or Gilliam, they only gave up 8 sacks) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Given how Tannebaum has cut / trades high priced guys only to replace them with other high priced FA (or taken 2 guys at nearly the same total for same spot), is this scenario that crazy? But notice how the Rams aren't scheduled to play The New York Giants, this year? Coincidence? Or are Suh and Donald scared to face John Greco, Jon Halapio and Patrick Omameh, "The Subway Turnstiles"??? Maybe we'll just SEE, come playoff time. And remember- you read it here first!
