Probably because even with Bliss' double-jointed elbows, you're going to have trouble sinking a real armbar and not actually risking doing damage to most of the women on the roster not named Natty (i.e. those that didn't grow up with her grandfather and others stretching her in the Dungeon). I also don't think it's been helped by the fact that there's been this expectation set (both by Rondo in her armbarring Steph and in instances beyond their control with someone like Pentagon regularly kayfabe-breaking the arms of opponents) that there has to be this hard jerk to sell giving an armbar.
