Ketchup on anything other than French fries/tater tots/onion rings is an offense punishable by death...

Burgers and hotdogs if it's ketchup or dry. Although clearly mustard if you have the choice.

And for everyone knocking ketchup on onion rings, that's perfectly suitable for fast food rings. If your getting them at a restaurant, they are probably coming with like 3 dipping sauces because onion rings are super versatile.

Mahomes may wind up having the best year but you have to remember that this is a popularity contest.

Most of the voters are older white dudes who have friendships with players on the teams they cover.

Many of the voters feel they have to make statements with their picks.

  • Its a TRAVESTY that we the voters stole a Brees MVP and gave it to our hero Peyton Manning. We must right this wrong by throwing another vote!
  • In 1997 Peter King caused a tie between a 2K rushing Barry Sanders and Favre by voting for the 5th best player on the Steelers. (Carnell Lake)
    • 2 idiots voted for Bettis over 2K Barry Sanders. (2 more idiots voted for Dana Stubblefield)

There are 8 corrupt, pathetic, frauds who voted Manning over Warner in 1999.

In 2007 some vermin named Frank Cooney voted Favre over Brady.

In 2004 some clown named Mike O'hara voted Vick over Manning.

In 2001 four homer boot-lickers voted for Kordell Stewart.

In 2015, Ron Borges, Brady-hater, and plagiarist voted for Carson Palmer over the obvious Cam Newton.

In 2016 you had Ryan who was dominant for 16 games, Brady who was dominant for 12 after that farce suspension, and Rodgers who put up another 40 TD year.

  • Seven fools voted for Carr (6) or Prescott (1)

In 2013 Jim Miller, an ex-teammate of Tom Brady, voted for Brady and his 30 less TDs over Peyton Manning.

  • He rationalized it with a bunch of crap about how Brady carried the Patriots. (basically the argument everyone else uses against Tom when pretending Brady is not the GoaT)
    • Guess what, a dude who throws for 55 TDs kinda carries his team too.

THESE ARE YOUR MVP VOTERS!

Even then, BBQ sauce is superior on all 3 of those

On thread: MVP is between Mahomes, Brees, and Gurley

The Saints are on pace to score on 62.5 percent of their drives, which would shatter the 2007 Pats record. He has a 76.9 completion percentage and a 126.9 QBR. This is like Madden on easy type stats. And he has shredded through the toughest 5 game stretch in the league this year...absolutely demolishing defenses.

I could barely put up the Stats Brees is putting up in 2006 Madden using Vince Young and rollout RB rollout passing route with an audible slant for multiple options to pass/run.

Yeah, but he threw an interception a few weeks ago. You've gotta protect the ball in this league. Sloppy play like that...... I don't know.....

To play devils advocate, the Saints play 10 games this season in a dome. The Patriots played 2. Also it's so much easier to score now. The Patriots had 589 points, 2nd had 455. The Saints are on pace for 604, but two other teams are on pace for around 550. Still, this is probably the 2nd best offense I've seen.

You know how many times I've seen Brees have the best volume stats in football and not even get a vote in the MVP conversation? If he loses out on volume to Mahomes this season but bests him in everything else (as he is currently) then he should win MVP. Or maybe they'll just switch the narrative to be all about volume stats now, as soon as it's not Brees who's doing it. ;)

But really, Brees has to be leading right now. The voters will also give him love for being the almost 40 year old, Mahomes will be seen as having plenty of chances in the future.
