He has a 76.9 completion percentage and a 126.9 QBR. This is like Madden on easy type stats. I could barely put up the Stats Brees is putting up in 2006 Madden using Vince Young and rollout RB rollout passing route with an audible slant for multiple options to pass/run. The Patriots played 2. Also it's so much easier to score now. The Patriots had 589 points, 2nd had 455. The Saints are on pace for 604, but two other teams are on pace for around 550. If he loses out on volume to Mahomes this season but bests him in everything else (as he is currently) then he should win MVP. Or maybe they'll just switch the narrative to be all about volume stats now, as soon as it's not Brees who's doing it. But really, Brees has to be leading right now.
