Wish Dak didn't get hurt. Really wanted the world to see how badly both He and the Cowboys truly sucked.

Now the injury excuse will mask that.

Overall it’s better for them anyway. Tank it, ghost McCarthy after Thanksgiving, move Dak, trade for Payton and try to get one of these QBs in the draft. Use the extra money to rebuild the oline and defense.Β

Way better shot at winning something than you do trying to patchwork this team they have now.

You'd trade a 1st for Sean Payton? Isn't that the cost in 2023 too? Who's trading for Dak at $40M? What QB they drafting if the 1st is dealt for Sean?

They will, Jerry is getting up there more and more. This next rebuild needs to land.

Coaching trades can be whatever teams agree to.Β

Teams that make sense off the top of my head would be Detroit, Seattle and New Orleans if Winston continues to be more meh. Dallas can also pay a portion of that to get better picks.

See it now.

1st time in NFL history a Player (FQB supposedly) is traded for a HC, straight up.

Saints get Dak and all of his contract.

Jerry gets his Supposed Messiah in Payton.

There's nothing better than Dallas' season being over in Week 1.Β Β

I have to imagine, knowing Jerry, they're not going to roll over this early. Gotta figure they're looking to swing a trade for some quality backup QB.Β

Yeah the 49ers have said they're keeping Jimmy but who knows if they really will?Β

Sean Payton quit on the Saints because he no longer had a QB to make his life easier and seem to want no part of a rebuilding team. Why would he want to go to Dallas if they were going to do just that? Aside from money of course.Β

Lots of money.

Because he's as much of a Egotistical maniac as Jerry Jones. If Dallas remotely gets in the Top 5/10 range for any the top rated QB coming out, God forbid somehow trade/swap out Dak for Bryce Young. He'd jump at that in a heart beat in my opinion!

His time in NO like Andy as a Eagle was stale, time to move on. Especially post Brees.

Starting over on "America's Team" and all the hoopla that entails,Β  a short rebuild is feasible.Β

But not with Dak, Zeke, Smith, JLaw current contracts.
