To answer the latter part first, I think it matters some. It would be "better" if we could keep it imo. As far as the first part, if they want to go down a path of Warthogs that'd be fine. Warriors. The main complaint I've heard is the team name "Redskin" is viewed as a derogatory term. Warrior on the other hand seems something to be proud of. I do believe there is an issue with the logo as well if I recall correctly. It's not a caricature like the Cleveland Indians logo was, but I think they were not a fan of it.
