Zeke didn't get arrested. He was briefly handcuffed, then they realized it wasn't something and then they took them off. No charges filed or anything.

So 8 game suspension minimum again?   The NFL has more on this incident than the last one.

CLE took a big risk signing him.  Appears to not be off to a great start.

No thread about Zeke getting arrested yet?

What was the risk? His base salary is something like $650k, +$25K per game he is on the roster.   He will make roughly $700k if he is there for all 8 of his eligible games.  If we cut him because he is stupid, he ain't getting anything.

I think the only risk is that he embarrasses himself/the team. Nothing else really.

Here's what we know so far ... the Cleveland Browns running back went to the Barley House party spot on Saturday night with a bunch of friends and stayed late into the evening.

Right after he left, SOMETHING happened -- and several cops went over to speak with the 23-year-old. He wasn't arrested. Wasn't detained. He left without incident.

But, a witness tells TMZ Sports ... Hunt was involved in a physical altercation with another man before the cops came over. The witness wasn't sure if it was a "real" fight or if he was just horsing around with a buddy.

At one point, one of the officers can be heard on video telling Kareem, "I saw him push you."

Barley House owner Bobby George told WKYC3 that Hunt was involved in a "small argument with one of his friends ... People blew it out of proportion."

We reached out to the Cleveland PD but despite the video, they have no record of the interaction -- "There wasn't a police report or any calls that we have located."

Either way, it's notable considering Hunt had publicly stated he was seeking help for alcohol and anger management in the wake of TMZ Sports posting video showing him in a 2018 physical altercation with a woman.

Sounds like no biggie in a vacuum.  However, if NFL has him on one of their zero tolerance for negative police encounters and drinking double secret probations, which seems probable, then he could be in trouble.

Dorsey told the media it was zero tolerance with Hunt when he signed him, correct? We will see if he sticks with that

But he didn't do anything wrong by all accounts. I'd be the first to boot him off the team if he does anything over the line, but this seems like it was not the case. I initially said we should cut him when this got brought up had it been something he did. But multiple reports are that this is literally a non-issue and he did nothing wrong.

Also, we won't need Kareem Hunt to beat the Ravens this year.

Kareem Hunt is going to quickly find himself in Pac-Man territory. The kind of treatment that gets you suspended for very minor offenses just do the sheer amount of times you’ve been told to avoid being in the wrong places.

Maybe, but Pacman Jones has his own special place in dumba$$ville. Hunt appears to be an idiot, but not on the level of Pacman. That dudes brain is mush.
