But, the overall is pretty laughable. What’s the biggest NFL contract? Rodgers for like 4/$140m? 10/$400m is not a jump I see happening. Not even remotely. Since GTD money can only be spread 5 years in the NFL, that is basically giving you an additional 5 years of team options valued in todays* $$$. Let’s compare Dak’s stats to Ryan Tannehill. Let’s also admit that Dak’s weapons far exceed Tannehill’s. 1. 73% completion %, 9.1 ypg, 3:1 td/int ratio, 114 QB rating, 60 QBR 2. 65.5% completion %, 8.3 YPA, 2.3:1 rs/int ratio, 98 QB rating, 60 QBR. guess which one is Dak? Now, consider that tannehill is playing this year for a whopping $2 mil. In terms of QB rating, Dak is now sitting between Derek Carr and Case Keenum.
