Aaaaaand just when you thought Bethesda couldn't possibly fk up Fallout 76 (or just fk up in general) any more than they already have, they've just announced a $100 annual subscription for the game.

Charging $100 a year for a broken, buggy, half-baked game that nobody plays? For some in-game currency, emotes and exclusive in-game store items? GTFOOH! This after lying about MTXs being cosmetic only and all the other BS they pulled.

Bethesda, the gift that keeps on giving.

Wow wtf? Even on nitrado servers for games like ark and conan exiles you can pay to have your own private server that can hold like 80 people for around 50 dollars a month.

"And to say, the Atomic shop is cosmetic stuff. To make sure folks understand--look there's a line. There are people who have crossed it, but we're going to stay on the right side of it in terms of the things you can spend money on and how this stuff works." ~ Pete Hines

"No. Only Cosmetic." - Pete Hines

Bethesda, Blizzard and 2K are all trying their hardest to steal the "Most Hated Game Developer" crown from EA.

who would have thought that Activision / Call of Duty would be the most consumer friendly release right now? Strange times.

WWE2k is a giant dumpster fire right now.  Sony is offering online refunds, and Adam "Edge" Copeland is setting up a PO Box for people to mail him their items that were shipped without being signed.  I get that a development partner pulled out, but what 2k Sports put out has no excuse, even if you have a Day One patch ready for it, which they didn't.

If we didn't have the ability to do patches, this would go down as bad or worse as the Superman game on the N64.

Decided that maintaining their Chinese market was more important than human rights.

When it comes down to it, a shocking amount of companies would take the chinese market over human rights because human rights affect the bottom line.

Also Bethesda is either being run into the ground or whoever is in charge has lost it.

Damn shame too.  I was really looking forward to this 2K.

There's really no reason the game shouldn't be amazing.  The roster has never been bigger or more diverse, plus you have ALL the old superstars you can put into the game.

I remember how fun the old WWE games were to play online, like in the PS3/360 era.  It's been consistently broken ever since 2K took over.  Then last year, the career mode was a pleasant surprise and this year it's glitched trash.  Really disappointing.

Hopefully they actually take their time with the next game having another year to put in their own vision.  Great or even good WWE games have always been a blast to play and the customization that you can do nowadays should be able to put it over the top if they can pull it off.
