There is risk either way. the risk is not removed when you go for it on 4th down. You save 7 yards, which is not that much when there is over 1 minute and the other team has 3 TO left. A fumble and 4th and 1 away from really crushing it. A bit of a roller coaster game but in perspective a 21-10 halftime lead should be celebrated overall. A lot of good in the first half negated by a few big negative plays.
