Shanedorf
En route to winning Super Bowl XLV, Green Bay beat the Eagles in Philadelphia twice with a 27-20 victory to open the season in Week 1 and a 21-16 win in the NFC Wild Card playoffs. The Packers also defeated Philadelphia in the 1996 season, 39-13, part of a 13-3 campaign that led to a Super Bowl XXXI victory. The Packers gave the Eagles Andy Reid, Jon Gruden and Doug Pederson, all we got back was a disinterested Ray Rhodes Edited September 24, 2019 by Shanedorf
Shanedorf
But the Eagles did give the Packers Reggie White

Siman08/OH
If we win this game in front of everyone they can’t ignore us anymore. Nothing would make me happier than 35-3. Defense balls out. Arod goes for 350 and 5. We become NFC favorites.

Not sure it would make us NFC favorites, but it would certainly put us in the conversation and set up the week 5 matchup with Dallas. Come on offense....put it together....better at least. Posted excepts of an article elsewhere and the following sentence stood out to me: "...the Packers have faced 38 drives through three games, which is tied for the second most in football" I didnt know that stat previous, but thats what I mean when I say the offensive struggles are unsustainable. We'll wear out our defense if we keep throwing it on the field like that. They'll lose that step and peak efficiency. They'll get injured. 4 + 0 Lets do it and look forward to Dallas. coachbuns
I'm confident this is the week our offense becomes sustainable with our defense still be rock solid.

The other thing about the drive count is that we're playing our top edge guys and Clerk a very high percentage of snaps. If we're not careful, these guys are going to wear down very quickly. We need the offense to start rolling so we can get some Gary/Fackrell/Fadol snaps.
