TNF: Steelers at Browns

Starting at around 1 minute is the full play.

It was a mistake to not throw a flag for Garrett's initial tackle. It was beyond late and unnecessary. There is NO WAY that Mason instigated it, and it's honestly embarrassing to me to say otherwise.

OK, after watching the sequence for the 30th time, we have to at least give a shout out to David Decastro for being the only person to hande the situation perfectly. He immediately came to the defense of his QB. Pulled Garret off and walked him away. Mason got hit because he tried to charge around Decastro. Once Garrett took the swing, he took him down and pinned him so he couldn't do anything else without anything resembling a swing. He gets a sticker.

Not in public on national tv. He isnt the coach. That's crazy talk. Nobody would doubt BB leadership or tom Brady leadership and neither one would had said what baker said.

Because TB and BB haven't made all of the stupid comments to the media that Baker has recently probably. Mayfield needed to respond this way or he'd be under fire. Good on him and I'm a bonafide Mayfield hater

So if one of your friends gets struck with something during an altercation, what are you going to do? Wait for the police or something? Lmao

Lol what I may or may not do wont stop me from getting in trouble. One minute yall saying garrett cant react a certain way cause of something. In turn I'm saying the same to you all. If that's the stance,  pouncey cant lose his mind and kick a guy in the head while he on the ground.

seriously though, if you swing a helmet at an OL mans QBs defenseless head, expect to get kicked in the head

Alternatively if you storm angrily at a man holding your helmet after you just tried to rip off his helmet and kick him in the junk, expect to get hit with a helmet?

Both are wrong.

Don't know how you charge Garrett and not Pouncey at that point? There was a deliberate and intentional kick to the head there.

Depending on the state law, Pouncey could get charged with assault.  However, Garrett could get charged with assault with a deadly weapon or something similar.

It's probably Garret walking out. He knocked out the cops with a helmet and disguised himself in their clothes

To be fair, even though he was getting high fives from some Cleveland fans on the way out after he was booted, I wouldn't be shocked if the police were actually there at the request of the Browns to escort Garrett when he does leave to go to his car, just in case some drunk fan decides to do something stupid in retaliation.  We do know that Pittsburgh fans travel well when it comes to away games.

Spygate?

Deflategate?

Were they not held accountable? Where in the actual carmen san diego is this relevant? You just named two incidents where people were not only held accountable but probably punished too harshly and made examples of, regardless of where you fall in that argument.

What?? So baker being a moron in the past is what made this ok for him. Ok bruh.

and?

That the NFL will want to discourage that behavior. The fight was over at that time. Hell, one could argue it should have been over before Mason charged. It didnt look like Garrett was about to get violent with those Steelers OL. Not victim blaming, because just charging someone should not equate to getting hit on the head with a helmet.
