Starting at around 1 minute is the full play.

It was a mistake to not throw a flag for Garrett's initial tackle. It was beyond late and unnecessary. There is NO WAY that Mason instigated it, and it's honestly embarrassing to me to say otherwise.

Can't wait to see the Garrett defenders spin this now that it's been posted, a lot of people ain't even seen the play apparently

Alternatively if you storm angrily at a man holding your helmet after you just tried to rip off his helmet and kick him in the junk, expect to get hit with a helmet?

Both are wrong.

They cant even see how hypocritical they are being. Everybody want to judge what is or isnt fair retaliation for an action. How bout we just dont start nothing in first place and you dont have to worry about if somebody retaliation is overboard

That the NFL will want to discourage that behavior. The fight was over at that time. Hell, one could argue it should have been over before Mason charged. It didnt look like Garrett was about to get violent with those Steelers OL. Not victim blaming, because just charging someone should not equate to getting hit on the head with a helmet.

ok, give pouncey 1 game.

make him sit for the bengals game

they will probably give him 2 so he sits vs browns rematch

Garrett doesn't know the ball is gone. His facemask is buried in Rudolph's chestplate. For all he knows Rudolph is trying to fight free of a sack.

You see at 1:21 where Rudolph starts working on Garrett's helmet. That's intentional and deliberate cheap shot work.

You see at 1:26 where Garrett is trying to retaliate, that Rudolph kicks him in the danger zone.

You can also see where Rudolph stands back up and tries to re-engage.

Cool, seems totally fair that Garrett should try to kill the guy then.
