Making non stop excuses for them is how it starts. 3 years always turns into 6 wasted years because of this.

From 2008-2014 Flacco and the Ravens missed the playoffs 1 time with an 8-8 season. 2015 he got injured and it took some time for him to recover. Even though, Ravens was within playoff range in 2016 but the defense crumbled several times. Flacco played well enough with very little in 2017 but the Bengals won on the 4 and 12 and in 2018 he got injured and Lamar took over. There was never any wasted years.

Rivers, Ryan and many others have had worse seasons with more talent.

We're 14-1 with a lead at halftime under Vrabel. Here's hoping.

It will be interesting to see, if a heavy dose of Henry will soften up that defense even more in the second half. Then the Titans are in good position.

Wins and playoffs is a team accomplishment. Ravens dumped Dilfer quick.

Flacco has pretty much always had a fantastic defense. That counts when it comes to talent.

And, barring one particular year I can remember (and I believe it ended up being the one the Ravens missed the playoffs), he's also had an above-average OL that managed to stay relatively healthy... which is definitely more than Rivers and Ryan can claim.

Falcons during the Ryan era average about 22-24 in defensive DVOA. Yeah we've had tons of skill position talent, but having mediocre defense will still cripple you in the long-run.

Well, you are wrong. Now, what about all those nice receivers other teams had, what did Flacco have as a supporting cast? His best receiver was a 35-36 year old Steve Smith, Justin Forsett and a couple of games of Alex Collins.

You guys have no idea what you are talking about. We could add the seasons where Ravens joined the Chargers with the most players on injured reserve, but that is a part you don't know.
