I don't think the Broncos have the draft capital to go up that high.

If Minnesota is refusing to include their '25 FRP, would you prefer 11/23 or 12/'25 FRP?  Legitimately asking.

I may go with the second choice cause that 2025 1st could be high.

I think MN pays out the nose to avoid that.

I would agree.  I think Minnesota is going to be very reluctant to be willing to include their '25 FRP, and despite VIkings' fans opinions otherwise I'm not sure the 23rd pick really holds all that much weight if we're being honest.  The problem I'm seeing is that IF the Giants are the team walking away with QB4, I think you've got a glut of teams in that 11-13 range that would like to grab a QB.  Does that put pressure on Minnesota, Denver, and/or Las Vegas to move up to get Michael Penix or Bo Nix?  Of those 3 teams, Minnesota is the only one I can't envision them not taking a QB in the first round.  But IF Denver or Las Vegas were to jump them, they'd be forced into taking Bo Nix unless they're willing to wait until 2025 to fix their QB.

Best guess right now, I think that LV is going to be content to play out the year with Gardner and Aidan.  So I don't think they move up.  They could take Penix or slide back for Nix.

Caleb/Jayden/Drake top 3, MN moves up with LAC for McCarthy who does fit their system, and then Denver goes with their favorite of Penix or Nix.

I don't think MN makes that trade for 23 unless they're keyed in on a couple QBs, Drake or JJ being my guesses.

What's stopping Arizona from trading down out of #4 to another team like the Raiders or Broncos?  If the Vikings trade up before that #4 pick is submitted, they run the risk of the Cardinals moving their pick to a QB-needy team and they're stuck picking QB5.

The Vikings won’t officially trade with LAC until Arizona’s pick is in.

I’m not buying into this “Arizona is going to trade down, pocket a lot of the ransom and then come back up to 5” stuff.

If LAC is willing to move down for less of a ransom then why wouldn’t the Vikings just trade with them instead?

The Chargers and Vikings would be smart to call Arizona’s bluff and agree a deal that wouldn’t cost as much as moving up to 4 but would get the Chargers a better ransom than trading back with Arizona would after the QBs are gone.

Having said that I have a feeling one of the QBs might slide into the back end of the top 10 and one of MIN/LV/DEN might be able to move up relatively cheaply by trading with the Falcons or Bears instead of moving into the top 5.

The Giants are the Viking’s competition for #4.  They wouldn’t have to trade a future 1st to move up two spots and their 2nd rd pick is too late for that next tier of QB’s unlike the Vikes situation where they could take their next guy at #11 or #23.  At the end of the day the Giants have to look that their QB situation going forward as trading a couple day two picks for McCarthy or setting your hopes on Shedeur Sanders or Quinn Ewers.

I think they’ll give Daniel Jones more time

If I’m the Chargers, who seemingly like JC Latham a lot, I don’t see how the Giants can be more appealing without them surrendering a future first.

Like, I would rather have 11 and 23 than 6 and the Giants’ second in their situation.

😄😄😄 I actually think you're right. Daniel Jones can keep New Yorkers' minds off the societal breakdown of their city.

I’m not sure if it’s because his name has been around forever since he played as a true freshman or what, but I feel like Kool-Aid is being overlooked at this point. He isn’t making it out of the top 20-25 and for good reason. High floor and he’s just a damn good player.

It's largely splitting hairs, but not going to lie...I'd be surprised if he goes in the top 25. I've been expecting him to go 26 -40

I don’t see him getting past Detroit. I think he’s a very strong possibility at 17 too with how much Nielsen likes to press.
