Feel like they’re going DL or LB in the first. And I’m not stoked about LB. The longer we keep Lane the more I think developmental T in the mid rounds

is Taylor gonna start this season? Is Turner our Swing?

I dont think Taylor starts over Turner.   But Taylor would be an option as a RG and you kick Turner out to RT if Wagner were to get hurt or suck bad.  A 1/2 game or 1+ game of the former is 1 thing, the latter of that is not appealing.

question: How would you manage this offseason if you just committed now to the idea that there won't be a 2020 NFL season and sold out for 2021 instead?

interesting question, not sure any of these make strategic sense. One worth considering is trading 2021 picks for 2020 picks, knowing you'd have a full year to get those guys ready for the 2021 season. The 2021 rooks won't contribute as much in 2021

You could take a chance on draft picks with an ACL like the one DL Jeffrey Simmons had last year
You could consider position switches, like moving a guy from WR - CB or moving a LG to a RG
You could ****** players that need a year of nutrition +  strength training to be ready

You could max out 2020 cap space at the expense of 2022 and beyond

I think its time for all of Packer Nation to (grudgingly) accept the reality that Billy Turner... is not really an OT candidate, swing or otherwise.
It's a position that needs to be filled in draft or FA for a team making a run. They tried with Alex Light last year and that was also a no- go.
Turner can get you out of a game, but he can't be the plan for 2020.

Well, this DL FA class went from very appealing to not so hot.   There are a few additions due to player cuts.   Linval Joseph, Damon Harrison

Why would we do that when Turner started last year?

To me, looking at that depth chart above, if we can sign a starting DL in FA then I think you can plug the rest through the draft. Maybe we end up having to start Lowry again. We're fortunate that a lot of our more urgent needs are at non-premium positions — WR, TE, LB, S.
