scar988
I feel like I might be alone here, but why do so many people worry about spoilers? I get that certain things shouldn't be spoiled (Game of Thrones, Star Wars, big cultural phenomenons), but like stuff on Netflix like The Circle. Who cares who wins? it's the journey and hte craziness along the way. Am I the only one who feels this way?
MacReady
Spoilers are fine for 99% of movies. That 1% though... Jacob’s Ladder, The Sixth Sense, Empire Strikes Back, movies where the spoiler makes the movie I don’t want spoiled. Only thing worse than spoilers for movies like that are movies that spoil its own movie with stupid ****ing narration that ruins everything. I’m talking about you, Quentin “Let’s spoil what would have been one of the most epic surprises in Western history with your own stupid childish narration” Tarantino.
August4th
depends on how much I care for the film/show or my patience level at the time lol
animaltested
Love them. For a series, Ill usually read a synopsis of the entire series after the 1st or 2nd episode. What to make sure the time commitment is worth it. Did this with GoT and my enjoyment (1-4) was 100% better. For movies, if I am ambivalent or on the fence about a movie, ill read a synopsis to decide if its worth it or not. My enjoyment of entertainment comes from the execution of its premise and knowing all the plot points doesn't detract from that. In fact, it usually enhances the viewing experience. Deadpulse
Hate em. I think it subverts the viewing experience to know ahead of time what the outcome is. It cheapens the efforts of the writer and co who are trying to build suspense for the conflict at hand to know the resolution already.
THE DUKE
Absolutely hate spoilers, and those who spoil on purpose should have terrible things done to them. I even try my best to avoid trailers if I already know i'm going to see it. I usually cave and watch them though.
scar988
So like, I don't spoil things for others, but I love when people spoil things for me. IF that makes any sense. Anything that is worth spoiling, I make sure to see first day. But I don't go out of my way to spoil things. To me, while what happens is great and all, I absolutely care way more about how they get there.

scar988
I'm not advocating being the guy who spoils things. But if someone comes up to you and is like, "Keep talking about the coolest movie ever and the spoilers that happen. I'll be seeing it this weekend and it will still be awesome to me." Calvert28
Never been bothered by spoilers. It never spoils anything for me at least.

bucsfan333
Don't like 'em. I get that some do, and others don't mind them. But I do my best to avoid them.
Daniel
My mother spoils everything she watches herself. As in she gets on a computer and looks up the ending of everything before she watches it. "Because she gets too nervous otherwise." Pretty much everyone tries to avoid watching anything with her for the first time because she also has no poker face. Drives everyone crazy. And it's not just like thrillers, either. She does it for non-live sporting events (which is why my dad pretty much doesn't watch football anymore) and even the goddamn Great British Baking Show.
