WizeGuy Posted December 23, 2020 Share Posted December 23, 2020 So, it sounds like the Pfizer vaccine will still be effective against the emerging strain in Europe. Apparently the vaccine targets multiple areas on the spike protein so if one area mutates it will still effectively recognize another part of the spike protein and prepare for war. Also read that if it hadn't, they said they could've developed a new vaccine that would be effective against it and that would only take 6 hours.
