Bearerofnews
When everyone is high on the Chargers they underperform. When everyone is low on them, they prove everyone wrong (atleast regular season). I really hope this season happens.
DerbyRam
AFC East: Bills - 10-6 Pats - 7-9 Dolphins - 6-10 Jets - 5-11 AFC North: Ravens - 11-4 Steelers - 10-6 Browns - 9-7 Bengals - 7-9 AFC South: Titans - 11-5 Colts - 10-6 Texans - 6-10 Jags - 4-11 AFC West: Chiefs - 13-3 Broncos - 10-6 Chargers - 6-10 Raiders - 5-11 NFC East: Cowboys - 9-7 Eagles - 6-10 Redskins - 5-11 Giants - 4-12 NFC North: Vikings - 11-5 Packers - 9-7 Lions - 6-10 Bears - 4-12 NFC South: Saints - 12-4 Buccs - 10-6 Falcons - 7-9 Panthers - 6-10 And finally... NFC West: 1) San Fran 49ers - 12-4 2) LA Rams - 9-7 3) Arizona Cardinals - 8-8 4) Seattle Seahawks - 7-9 The 49ers dominated in the play offs, finishing well in the regular season bar an unexpected loss to the Falcons. They've got a solid ground game, despite no superstar running back, so I expect they will be top of the pile again. The Rams finished the season in good form, we comfortably beat the Cardinals twice (34-7 & 34-21) and the Seahawks (28-12). We ran the Niners close and should've won. All said and done this was a team with injury problems and it ended up with 1 missed FG from being in the play-offs. The Cardinals have no doubt improved this offseason, but they are team that has finished bottom of the division 2 years running: they won just two games in their final 9 last season - their only wins coming against Cleveland and Seattle. I think they do improve on their 5-10-1 record, but think they fall short of the play-offs. The Seahawks lost their final 3 divisional games - 28-12 to the Rams, 27-13 to the Cardinals and 26-21 to the Niners. They only had 2 wins in their season that were more than 1 score, they beat the Rams after a Zuerlein missed a FG to win the game, they won two games in overtime and their play seemed to regress over the season. I can't ignore the divisional record though: they won their week 4 game comfortably against the Cardinals (27-10) they then beat the Rams due to a missed FG in week 5 and beat the Niners in OT in week 10. They went on to lose the following three, two of them against Rams & Cardinals comfortably. The Cardinals finished the season in horrible form too. I don't think you have to blow teams away every week to prove you're a good team, but once in a while is necessary. You need to be able to flex on teams, Seahawks couldn't last season. Bassomatic
22 hours ago, Ray Reed said: People? Theres been all of 1 person who’s done that in this thread. And that person - to my knowledge - is a steelers fan. Trying to start the “we get no respect” narrative pretty early this offseason, huh? The "no respect" narrative is perfectly justified this off-season, given that God and everybody proclaimed that the Steelers traded away an "inevitable top-five draft pick" in a "desperation move" last season. They were only off by 13, which is really impressive when you consider that there were 255 picks in the draft, and 13/255 is 5.1%. That was a precision prediction right there. Bravo. Hey, quick show of hands, everybody: After Ben Roethlisberger suffered a season-ending injury six quarters into the season, how many of you predicted that the Steelers would finish 8-8? (Put your hands down, liars.)
SteelKing728
Mods, can I post a bold predictions thread? It would clearly be different from this one.

NJC33
I get it's Belichick, but any other team would be accused of tanking.. I just don't see how some people can still have them going 10-6 with Hoyer/Stidham and a poor supporting cast. Fortunately, I do believe Belichick is enough to keep them out of the Lawrence sweep stakes. The AFC East should be a lot more competitive this year, not to mention the overall SOS is night and day.
