RaidersAreOne
The #Packers are cutting fan favorite WR Jake Kumerow, source said. "Touchdown Jesus" heads to waivers.
Chili
I'm not surprised at all. If it came down to EQ and Kumerow for the final roster spot then the decision wasn't difficult. EQ still not completely safe as yet. We could still bring in a WR from outside the organisation.
packfanfb
I don't really care about Kumerow either way, but add it to the list of "things Gute has done in 2020 to piss off Aaron Rodgers" lol.
Donzo
Probably haven't seen the end of Kumerow unless the Packers add veteran...He's a perfect candidate for the expanded PS... The roster rules this season will lead to some interesting moves.
Chili
As expected because of Tyler Ervin. Now I feel quietly confident that the Packers will keep only 5 WRs: Adams, Lazard, MVS, EQ and Turner

After Adams, its an extremely weak group - the weakest I have ever known following Packers so you might as well go light. Would probably just go with 4 plus Ervin. So Adams, Lazard, MVS, EQ It's a unique group for sure. After Adams it'll pretty easily be the most talented group we've ever had from a purely H/W/S standpoint which we all (a lot of us) get infatuated with come draft time but very possibly the least amount of capital invested in the group. A 5th, a 6th, and a couple Jaguars' castoffs.
MacReady
Adams, MVS, Lazard, ESB. Not a bad group. Would have felt more comfortable with Funchess. Would feel more comfortable if they signed a journeyman WR like Rogers who has at least done something in an NFL game. Not because I would think they'd do much early, but because it's very important to have that chemistry with Rodgers, so now is the time to do it. Chili
Wooo! Malik Taylor is last man standing....does he still stick on the roster or are we going to bring someone else in? Yesterday I went back on old training camp tweets. Whenever Taylor was mentioned positively it was usually with Love throwing the ball. Whenever Turner was mentioned positively it was usually Boyle throwing the ball. So naturally I assumed that if Boyle is #2 QB then Turner is ahead of Taylor in the pecking order. Doesn't appear to be the case at all. Edited September 5, 2020 by Chili
Mazrimiv
If nothing else, it seems like M-Taylor has a different body type than the rest of the group. Much more of a Deebo Samuel type build. Sure feels weird having final cuts and talking about week 1 without ever having seen many of these guys play.

Would have been okay with that group.
ReadyToThump
One has to think we'll sign a Devin Smith or Hakeem Butler? Then again stranger things have happened... who knows.
packfanfb
Don't really get the Hakeem Butler love. Guy is a workout warrior who has never caught an NFL pass. What are we signing him for? To groom into Love's No. 3 guy in 3 years?

I don't see Smith being pursued, but Butler sure seems to fit the profile GB likes at WR
