NFC Least Update:

2-13-1 against the rest of the NFL

They are a combined -154 for an average of -9.6 per game

The Rams swept the division at +49 in 4 games.

The Eagles taking the division at 5-10-1 is still on the table. (6-10 for everyone else)

I think 4-11-1 or 5-11 could technically be possible but it would require some bad teams to play well and the division to have a bunch of splits against each other.

#Cardinals' rookie Isaiah Simmons has played in all 5 games this season.

... He has been out there for only 58 total defensive snaps.

Something isn't right.

Yeah i was wondering about him. I thought he was the safest pick this draft, but doesn't seem to be living up to the expectations or hype.

Bring on the sweet Niners.

Rams look sharp this year

We won't have any answer for Donald and the Rams would be smart to have Ramsey follow aiyuk

Our pass rush isn't what it was and we only have one healthy corner

Garoppolo isn't healthy and doesn't move well under normal circumstances. Our OL has forgotten how to pass block

All of this is to say - imagine how bad you will feel with this horrible football team beats you on national television

We just got clobbered by the freaking Dolphins and got an L from the injury-riddled Eagles. It'll take an epic crap show from the Charging Goats to not win 🤢

It doesn't seem like he's really ever been in long enough to get into a real rhythm in a game. Part of this is because our other linebackers have played better than what was expected, but you would think with the injuries we have had he would be getting more playing time, even if it wasn't at lb. With Chandler Jones most likely being out for an extended period of time, he might be able to get a bit more playing time.

Week 5

Carr drives deep

Carr had an average depth of target of 9.2 yards for the game, which was nearly 2 yards more than he had than any of the first four games of the year. He attempted six deep shots on the day, connecting on four for 219 yards and two touchdowns. That was 79 more deep passing yards than he has ever recorded in a single game in his career. Of those four deep completions, three traveled over 35 yards downfield (most in a game in his career and fourth time he had more than two).

Russ cooks, DK serves

Wilson targeted Metcalf 10 or more yards downfield seven times against MIN, and he came away with a 131.5 passer rating on those throws.

That brings the Wilson-to-Metcalf connection at 296 deep (20-plus-yard target) receiving yards for the season, 90 more than any other quarterback-receiver combo.

McVay the Chauffeur

Jared Goff in 2020 — 9.0 yards per att (1st) — 6.4 avg depth of target (2nd lowest)

basically; he's creating room for his receivers to run after catch, dialing up a high rate of play action and creating a high rate of open throws when they do attack downfield

Fought D-Law, and D-Law won

Lawrence generated a pressure on 32% of his pass-rush reps, which is the highest in a single game thus far in the 2020 season.
