You think they’d have kept winning with geriatric KG, Pierce, and Ray?

The future of the ec? yeah i forgot what they did with the picks. 1st round draft picks are overrated though unless you are getting a potential star in the early part of the draft. Its how the Pistons ended up with the #2 pick to get Darko, which was a dumb pick but still the concept of trading for future firsts is they are lotto tickets. But yes, moving on from Paul and likely gutting more of their team will be the best route so they draft high the next couple of years. even the rockets picks might not be valuable 2021- if rockets are super bad the thunder wont get that pick since its top 4 protected. they have to trade harden and Westbrook though. 2024- rockets could be top 4 bad if they trade harden 2025- that pick is top 10 protected, so thunder probably wont get that pick if the rockets are bad. 2026- rockets "could" be good by then so the pick wont be valuable Edited November 16, 2020 by Texansfan713

Disagree, high first round picks are great assets for a rebuilding team. Stocking any picks is a good idea, but give me a bunch of picks over a Westbrook type deal

That’s an automatic Finals appearance out of the East. Disagree, I don't think Kyrie can co-exist with any ball-dominant scoring type player. And LeBron is transcendent, brought out the best in Kyrie, KD/Harden don't have those types of abilities.

The only way the Clippers move on from Kawhi is if Kawhi leaves them. And for every Darko lottery ticket that teams trade for, there's dozen Kings/Grizz picks where they amount to virtually nothing. Kip Smithers
I mean we’ve seen some iteration of a KD-Harden-Kyrie trio before in OKC lol and they lost to Miami’s big 3 in the Finals. See why no reason it couldn’t be dominant. Wouldn’t be the most flowing and enjoyable basketball to watch but it would be scary.
