Doesn't actually change him being the best QB in the NFL. Who cares about the accounting aspect of it? But again, I see no bigger issue with those being counted as passing TDs than the Peyton Broncos pick plays and WR screens, for instance. It's just a stat. It doesn't actually matter one way or the other to how good of a football player he is. It's not like anyone is saying Mahomes is elite because he throws so many TDs, and only because of that. Passes beyond the LOS, introduce alot of variables that cant dictate the outcome of the pass. So pick plays isn't a good example. Jet sweeps and the te shovel passes Mahomes throws are basically hand offs that go as tds. I promise you if Mahomes finishes with 25 tds instead of 35, it makes a big difference on how people rate him or public perception. Which is the case with any player, ever. So it's not exclusive to patty. TD's might be the most critical statline for QB's.

Again no shade, Mahomes has the most low effort tds. You have to acknowledge that. Obviously, the object is to score and win and KC by design is amazing at it. But can't use those low effort scores to prop up a QB's play. He had 2 today, 2 vs NE, 1 vs Balt. I'm sure im missing others. Don’t be mad that Andy Reid knows how to pad a QBs stats. It’s like Kobe. You gotta have the threat of driving the lane in order to beat them with the fade-away jumper.

Then don't look. I shudder to think of the state of a fantasy team that is reduced to starting the Jets defense.

This is a tired argument, are Chiefs that much more talented and smart than everyone else that they’re the only ones that can achieve “cheap TD’s” it just doesn’t make sense.

So who cares if a play gets called a passing td when it was easy. That's no true at all. Never has been. Show me a player at his position who was regarded highly who had low key statlines for the season. Doesn't happen.
