Ghostnote
Heard Breeland and Norman practiced today. Jonathan Allen may be out just 8 weeks, not the year, although that means nothing for Monday. Love the humor in this thread.

Biggest name on that list is Williams. That would be a huge loss if he doesn't play. Especially with our DL/front 4!

furti
Quote 1. Alshon Jefferey, Philadelphia Eagles Contested Targets – 21 Contested Catches – 8 Jefferey has been off to a relatively slow start with his new team, producing an overall grade of 73.7. That hasn’t stopped quarterback Carson Wentz from looking for him often despite being covered. Nearly half of Jeffery’s targets have been contested and he has caught 38 percent of them. https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-most-contested-targets-to-wide-receivers-through-week-
AZ_Eaglesfan
Wow, was not aware that Jeffrey was bringing in so many contested catches. It is good that he can make the tough grabs, but this also means he probably isn't getting open that often, although that could be explained by him getting double teamed regularly. Jlash
He's got no choice but to catch contested passes. He doesn't separate. Winning at the point of attack has always been how he gets his.
RandyMossIsBoss
At 5-1 we now stand alone at the top. If we win Monday, then next week will be the first time since 2004 where we've entered the week, this late into the season, in sole possession of the best record (we were 7-0, Pats and Steelers both 6-1). TheRealMcCoy
It's Friday now and they still don't have a GDT made in the Washington forum. Shameful.

They are Skins fans, you can't hold them to any kind of decent standard. I mean just look how bad of a poster that @MKnight82 guy is.
Phire
Alshon doesnt separate AND hes being doubled a lot. im not surprised how many contested catches hes gotten. im also not surprised wentz isnt forcing the ball to him when others are open. EaglesPeteC
I don't think Alshon is gonna put up the numbers that some expected from him but he is still very valuable to the offense. Really his best years were with Brandon Marshall as the #1. No doubt he is opening up the field for other guys. It's going to be interesting how the off-season plays out with him. I agree to an extent, but I also feel it's a time thing. The more he and Wentz get on the same page the better it's going to be. Plus after this season if Ertz and Agholor continue to succeed teams will have no choice but to lean away from AJ.
MKnight82
Can we smack talk or something? The Redskins don't even have a gameday thread and I'm bored already.
