Lol man

This just goes to show how teams are all liars, more stupid than many here believe, or how true it is that at some point you can only hurt yourself. If Fields sits out all 2020 he goes #2, because Lance is a raw project.

TLDR he's 29-35 in 4 years as the 49ers coach.

With average to below average QBs all along the way.

These coaches aren't miracle workers. If you don't have a legit QB you aren't going anywhere.

Man imagine if this is for Mac Jones

Some thoughts:

1. Before today, I figured 5 qb's in first 10 picks. Now I am thinking if it is Jones it might be 5 qb's in first 5 picks.

2. Selah tips off SF? I don't think GM's have that must trust. For one thing, anyone could move to two no matter what the coach wants or says. To do this deal today you
a) needed Wilson to show so you have certainty of that value
b) love someone else, too
c) love yet another someone, in case Lawrence or Wilson or your guy hits a tree going 90mph.

3. Miami has to look at Chase/Pitts/Sewell and be happy at 6. They might get their first choice. Reminds me of Washington fleecing the Saints who wanted Ricky Williams, and then moving up to get Champ Bailey. This is the one and only good move that Charley Casserly did during his entire career.

4. Kittle is pouting cuz he was real comfortable with Jimmy's throws and choices.  Jimmy was apparently more popular with the team than the front office.

5. Mortgaging this much future is why you do not put GM's on the hot seat with the full keys to the Porche. It might work for a little while, but the window just shrunk and the rebuild just got longer.

6. Why would Atlanta trade, other than being Atlanta? They are seeing the price of the 3rd best qb of a draft, and Ryan is not getting any younger. Better for them to grab one now, particularly if Jones goes before #4.

7. Here's a scenario. Draft goes Lawrence, Wilson, Jones, Lance, Sewell. Suddenly Miami holds the "Fields Pick." Imagine what they could get from Carolina for pick seven and still get the person they wanted! Since the threat of trading down again past Carolina would be very real.

Yes, and with one NFC championship trophy when he had a QB attempt less than 15 passes combined in the playoffs

Kyle is 24-9 with garoppolo and 5-26 with CJ beathard, Brian Hoyer, and Nick Mullens at QB.

The idea that Kyle is not a good coach because he doesnt have a great record lacks context, which was provided in a previous post.

Sean McVay is 44-19-1 over the same span with Jared Goff at QB and the Rams have had a winning record all 4 seasons.

And thats precisely why they made the trade....if we can get healthy we may not pick this high for a while. Strike while the iron is hot and get a premium QB (hopefully)

And Shanny got to the SB when he had average QB play with Garrapolo...

Large amount of those losses in your post came with Beathard/Mullens or a hobbled Garrapolo.

Jared Goff is a starting caliber player. CJ Beathard, Brian Hoyer and Nick Mullens are not.

Jared Goff is Jimmy G.

Jimmy G is Jared Goff.

Kyle is 24-9 with Jimmy which is actually a better winning percentage than what McVay has with Goff. Again, context.

It's fun to provide records with no context at all I often say.
