They beat the Lakers, albeit and injured one, and he was in large a part a negative for them. It’s actually crazy. It’s worst than the media push last year for Bron to get MVP. Last time he had a game 6 at Staples… Well for starters....the Suns haven't lost a Series. Losing one game with bad play, or even 2.....there will be some heat. But when the team ends up winning, all gets forgotten pretty quickly. If the Suns lose the series, then yeah, Booker's going to get scrutinized. But given it's his first playoffs, and how he closed out the Lakers on Game 6, and how he rose up in game 1 without CP3 this series, he's going to have some leash. The real issue from game 5 IMO is 2-fold - the Suns are letting the Clippers dictate a half-court game. They should be pushing pace. The Clippers are worn out, and showed clear signs of fatigue in game 4-5 - but the Suns slowed the O down in the 2H of game 4 and from the get-go in game 5. That's got to stop. The other issue is they put Booker as PG far too much when he was on fire - with Payne back, there's no reason to have Booker at PG. Should have been CP3 and Payne, with the odd Booker run plays. Clippers did a great job making Payne unplayable in the second half by just attacking him over and over till the Suns had to bench him. That's why you saw Booker playing PG at times.
