Dammit. Dammit, this sucks.

Heal up, JJ. So glad you found success and happiness in Arizona, hopefully you can get back to it.

If not... we miss you here. You always have a home in Houston.

The guy has managed to stay healthy two of the last six seasons, and that involved missing significant time in each of the four he couldn't stay on the field. It's time to pack it in. He's just stealing a pay check at this point.

No, I agree. Just sucks to see it end like this, right when he was enjoying the grind again.

Even bigger shame he got hurt in his first game vs the Texans.

He played thru the injury and played well but was also very upbeat after the game.  Weird.

100% a HOFer.

first ballot, without question

This is such a huge loss for the cards. He was on an absolute tear. Blew up a ton of run plays. Looked like peak SWatts. Was one of the reasons their defense was exceeding expectations this year.

Legendary player from Texas team joins Cards then injures shoulder in match up against former team.
