He's been average at best even when thrown to.  Has dropped 2 critical 4th down conversions while wide open and hasn't been getting looked at since.  One of those drops directly lost us the Chargers games.

He's made twice as much as Mayfield has during his tenure with the Browns.  Mayfield is gutting out a serious injury, he's getting daddy to cry for him on social media.  Doesn't matter what you think of Mayfield's ability.  OBJ is a loser, and has no class.

This.

@BrownLeader, why play dumb? Your narrative doesn't match his past or his present. This is all OBJ's doing and he's getting crapped on justifiably. He brought this all on himself. He's made tons of money, been banged up and missed lots of snaps/games because of it while making some big drops. Baker has to take responsibility and appears to be doing so.

Nude....29 games in Cleveland. Open repeatedly game after game w/o production to match. Never a bad word about his QB or team. Gets an acl tear going for a tackle on one of the worst ints you'll see. 2.5 seasons in, a day before the trade deadline, posts... "maybe this ain't going to work" for a few seconds then deletes it. His father can't anymore and speaks for him, calling out legitimately poor QB play.

about that narrative....

Imagine if Stefanski posted on Twitter and then deleted that about Odell--"maybe it's not gonna work out for Odell in Cleveland after all 🤦‍♂️" after Odell dropped that on-target fourth down pass to lose us the game. Glass houses, Odell.

Literally no one else in the league is doing it other than guys like Antonio Brown. It's diva crap and it's tired. So yeah, it's a major narrative you're pushing that says this this okay behavior. It's not. I hope the Browns take him to task for being LOCKER ROOM POISON. He has done nothing his entire time here in order to have that kind of self-righteous platform where he announces garbage like this to the world and actually gets support.

sheesh.

It was an honest admission that he was about to throw out publicly and thought better of. It wasn't trashing anyone. Better analogy would be Stefanski saying, "shoulda kicked that Field....ahh never mind" ;)

He's nothing like Antonio Brown.

Imagine being one of the highest paid players and worst teammate on your team at the same time

You've got on rose-colored glasses, my friend. Of course he's like AB. He just hasn't gone full AB (yet?/never go full AB). You're intentionally downplaying it and know that Stefanski analogy you made us a poor one. I already made the proper analogy above (and you know it 😅)--made an exact parallel. You know you wouldn't want to touch defending it if Stef did that so I ask you what is behind this (blind IMO) support of this behavior. This was clearly orchestrated with intent. He wanted out on his terms and didn't care about the team...kinda like AB...

Isn't he into that though?

Too bad it didn't all work out. Strange that Baker and OBJ couldn't find a way to get on the same page. I don't know what OBJ did to get himself dismissed from the team, but if he's resorting to childish antics that's obviously wasn't going to help his situation in Cleveland. Perhaps he thought acting like a child would be the best way to get out of town though. I don't know. There have been more talented receivers with less to work with at QB that were able to make it happen.
