And sometimes an OC needs a season to develop too. Brian Daboll's offense was horrid his first year in Buff, finishing 30th in overall points and yards; 23rd and 24th the following year (in both categories) then exploded his third year to second place those areas. The one similarity Daboll has with Getsy, so far? Both were good at rushing the ball in his first year. Daboll finished 6th overall his first year and I wouldn't be surprised if Chicago rushing attack is in the top five at season's end, despite a dearth of talent and no passing game to alleviate pressure off of it. I’m just not sure I get why people think the scheme is bad…it isn’t…we just don’t have enough talent to run it properly…the margin for error is so small right now because of the lack of talent of the players… People don’t want to hear it but Mooney isn’t a #1 WR in this league…a very good #2 but that final play was drawn up and called the right way and if gave our best receiver a real chance…throw was good and hit him in the hands…just Mooney couldn’t come down with it…if we can find an AJ Brown type then that is a game winning TD.
