In all the teeth-gnashing over this loss: we lost 7 preferred starters (Watson, Doubs, Runyan, Bak, Gary, Stokes, Jones) many of them for over half the game, and were still in a position to win with under 2 minutes to go. We seemed to suffer a whole host of lower leg injuries in this one game. A lot of them - which makes me wonder if the Lion defenders were rolling our guys up. I only can recall seeing the Doubs injury and it seemed just “one of those things” and not something dirty. But, that still leaves us SIX other injuries.
