not the year before... He wanted Hopkins money and we made him play out the last year of his deal which he did without bitching, holding out, or being a distraction... Don't blame him at all telling them to **** off a year later especially when he knew Rodge might have two years left.... Pay him that money two years ago, and he's here.

Even if you want to assume that he would have agreed to a long-term deal, there was absolutely ZERO reason that Hopkins should have been the contract comparison.  The Cardinals tacked that onto his current deal (which IIRC had 2 years remaining on it) and could spread money out.  Calling it a $27M/year deal was disengenious at best.

I do agree with the general premise of his post.  If GB was willing to enter serious negotiations with Adams at all, they should have started the process sooner.  The general gist of what Adams seemed mad about was GB not talking to him seriously about a new contract before he was hitting the FA market.  If the FO had offered Adams the same deal he rejected a year sooner, Adams would still be a Packer.

Their offense also sucks

The only team in the state that doesn't have an offensive problem is the Bucks and they're led by the actual best player in the league in his sport who is also not a primadonna annoying turd but a lovable goofball who has is extremely self aware lol.

He wanted to be the highest paid WR in the league... Hopkins was... The Packers choose to ride out the last year for negotiation... Adams took it as disrespect... So he took less than the Packers offered a year later to still be the highest paid WR in the league for like a day and knew the QB he was going to play with and be closer to the home he wanted. You can argue he made the wrong move, but to act like this is not the way it went down is actually what's disingenuous

Can Giannis play TE?  Maybe one of his brothers.

It's definitely both. Well, more so less that his physical abilities declined but his piss poor mechanics are coming back to haunt him. The man does everything you're taught not to do as a QB.

Yup.  Mechanics/ fundamentals were poor in 2018 and a bit in 2019.   Love gets drafted and Rodgers refocused on fundamentals for 2020 and 2021.

Contract extension happens and mechanics/ fundamentals go south again.

Paying him put him back into his personal secure mode and he completely reverted back to his usual bull**** immediately. At this rate, I just cut him, take the $40 Million dead cap hit, see what we have in Love next year and reassess after 2023. I don't give two ****s if Aaron ends up going scorched Earth on another team.
