The Bengals played 7 home games (or will once they play Baltimore, they have only played 6 so far)

Every other team in the NFL has played at least 8 home games (including Buffalo once they play NE this week), with half of them playing 9.

What is that if not a competitive disadvantage?

Bills also played 7 at home. Tbh.

It's just an idiotic statement that shows anyone who makes it has no idea the kind of preparation that goes into an NFL game.

I do. At this stage in the season there are rarely any padded practices any more. The wear and tear on their bodies and injury risk occurs almost exclusively on game day at this point.

Bill Bengals neutral field in divisional should be under consideration if both go in as the #2 and #3 seeds by winning on Sunday. The winner of that game should get a home game against the Chiefs, who'd be idle with a win. Or give the Bills/Bengals a coin flip for the divisional.
