Two-hand touching is far too violent. It should be replaced by players tickling each others' noses with feather dusters. A sneeze counts as a tackle.
goldfishwars
This is where tackling players ride and land on the back of the legs, right? Makes sense it would be penalised, too often used as attempt to hurt an opponent.
MWil23
Can’t do 2 different types of tackles, can’t hit a quarterback low, can’t hit a quarterback high, can’t hit a defenseless receiver, can’t land with all of your weight on a quarterback. Can’t play cover 2 or have illegal contact with a receiver after approximately 5 yards. ”Why does nobody want to play defense?”
TheKillerNacho
how do you legislate a rule like that? i don't think the grand majority of these are intentional, they're just guys doing their best to stop the offensive player. We need less penalties in this game , not more.
AZ_Eaglesfan
Man it is football. Players are going to get hurt you can not stop it. This would be an absolutely horrible rule...
m haynes
You don't want to get hurt, get down. Don't drag the defensive player down the field where he eventfully fall on the back of you. The QB has to take responsibility or pay the price.
Forge
I like that they included Tony pollard in that even though we all know this isn't about him 😂

INbengalfan
How long before teams allocate 75% or more of their cap to the offense since the defense keeps getting neutered?

Smart teams are already heading that direction IMO.

ET80
I’m all for player safety, but c’mon now. You need to penalize the ball carrier for not going down on initial contact if you want to actually make this change. This one is really stupid.
