jebrick
Route running is the #1 attribute for WR to have success in the NFL. If a WR can't get separation their career will be shorter than one who can't. You will eventually lose your speed but always have the route running.

Yeah I think he’s definitely in that 2nd to 3rd round conversation. Sounds like he’s done really well in pass catching drills throughout the offseason at the Senior Bowl/Combine. Feel like this added versatility that he didn’t really get to showcase as much at Tulane has only helped his stock. His lateral quickness is top notch and could make him a weapon in the pass game Edited March 16, 2023 by tyler735
jebrick
for spread offenses, you need to ignore the stats and look how he would translate to the pros.

This dude is just a bulked up wr or Rb. If he lost 15lbs he'd still be a decent sized Rb and likely profiles better there

Is that height right at 6-1 when listed at 6-3 or so in college. That is too bad, but those 27 reps at 225 is more than any WR, RB or TE did at the combine. And that 39.5" vertical is near the top of any RB or TE at the combine also. Sure someone will find a way to use him as a HB type, I need to watch some more of him no question. Then again Sammis Reyes at 6-5 260 ran a 4.64 in the 40 yard dash and reached 31 bench press reps at 225 while producing a 40″ vertical. And he has done nothing in the NFL and not sure he is even on a roster currently. But he was a basketball player transitioning to football, and still has time to develop, sadly the NFL has no minor league he could go do that in. Ideal guy to take over the slot in 2024 once Tyler Boyd's contract is up. Still wouldn't hate him in round 4 if he's still there.
