Which players were the biggest disappointments prior to week 1?

For the Titans it’s gotta be Kyle Phillips. Keeps getting hyped up as a difference maker in the depth chart, like a poor man’s Hunter Renfrow, then does nothing and gets injured immediately.

It’s Texans LG Kenyon Green. Was highly regarded as the 15th pick last season, was constantly dealing with nagging injuries and conditioning issues last season, had minor knee surgery this offseason, took longer than expected to recover, and is woefully behind schedule on his development as a key member of the Texans OL - it’s possible that FA journeyman Michael Deiter beat him out at LG and Green spends the season on the bench.

Every other young player has taken steps forward except for Green. He’s actually regressed from a poor rookie season, and is probably a trade candidate next preseason.

Logan Bruss for the Rams in my book. Most of us were pretty happy with the pick and he got hurt early last year. He was coming back from injury this year slowly and they moved him from Guard to RT where he played mostly in college and was just never able to both get fully healthy and make an impact at either OL position. Hopefully we sign him back to the PS.
