I have Nabers as #2 so far, but Odunze to me is closer to him (and being the second best WR) than he is from being the 4th WR (Coleman). If he is Courtland Sutton than this is pre-ACL Sutton at least. I think he's a great athlete with great hands, awesome body positioning/control and runs good routes to boot. What makes you rank him lower than consensus? Correct
Chrissooner49er
Not a 1st or 2nd round prospect by any means and may not even be taken until Day 3, but being a Sooner alum, I have got to mention Drake Stoops. I think he will be a very good slot type.

And Nabers is great…but nothing like AJ Brown, who wins with raw power at the catch point. Nabers is a superstar route runner with crazy acceleration. He isn’t a brute like Brown. At all. I think that description of AJ is selling him extremely short. Yes he’s physical and can win with power, but acting like he’s not technical and a great route runner himself is disingenuous. Hence why I said “mini” AJ Brown. Nabers trades off some of that size and power for speed, but both move with a similar gait and look a lot alike after the catch, with Nabers having 30 missed tackles forced. As for Odunze that was mostly a testament to his insane body control and agility for a big WR. He’s more nimble and athletic than pre-ACL Sutton. I’m sure there’s better comps for both, but as the Jets continue to fade into irrelevancy I’ll be doing deeper dives into this class. He's freaking smooth in everything he does. I was thinking Terry McLaurin, but Scary Terry and Diggs are close complements to each other anyways, IMO. Diggs/Nabers might have better open-field RAC vision, but all three of those guys are about the same size, are smooth, explosive, and run precise routes. He's not especially quick, fast, or strong. He's the type of receiver I think of coming out of Michigan over the years (e.g. Nico Collins, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Braylon Edwards). A decade ago, he would definitely go top 10. Ultimately, his type of archetype ends up being a lower volume WR2-type, which makes him more of a back-end of the first-round type for me. His best outcome for me is him becoming a Michael Pittman-type receiver, but he hasn't shown that yet. His body control is very good. The more I watch Odunze, the more I do see Michael Pittman Jr. in him actually. And that's not a slight at all. Keenan comp by me was off and extends only to his body control and not his overall route running abilities.

Yeah I have questions about Odunze. He reminds me way too much of Laquon Treadwell. Yeah he can win some jump balls and is a threat in the red zone, but he's not a very sudden player, doesn't get a lot of separation, and isn't a ht/wt/spd freak either. He has 1 really good ability, but I don't expect him to be a dynamic player between the 20's.

Wonder if Treadwell's career would've been different if not for the freak leg injury. I def like Odunze better than Treadwell coming out but Treadwell was a guy who truly lacked any special traits. That was a weird WR year. Now that we're having this conversation, I wonder if Coleman will leapfrog Odunze on physical traits, because that dude is a specimen.
