After draft day, he will be the receiver that everyone will say why wasn’t he picked higher. I feel as if he will emerge in a similar fashion to George Pickens for those who did not follow Pickens throughout high school and collegiate play.

I think Pickens went where he should have gone considering his production and injury history. I don't remember if he had character concerns as a prospect, but he sure does as a pro. And, so far, he has played more like a second round pick than a first round pick.

Franklins's biggest question mark is his size. He would be light if he were 6', but he's 6'3." Weight is less of a concern for me since we seen that it isn't prohibitive for NFL success, but we don't see a lot of guys with his build in the NFL (probably because most athletes built like him are playing point guard instead). The easy comp is Robbie Chosen (Robbie Anderson), but I think he's a more put together player than him. DJ Chark also comes to mind.

These numbers look a lot like the QB ones, making me suspect that the 3rd and 4th WR picks might turn out to be better investments than the top two.

Yeah I have questions about Odunze. He reminds me way too much of Laquon Treadwell. Yeah he can win some jump balls and is a threat in the red zone, but he's not a very sudden player, doesn't get a lot of separation, and isn't a ht/wt/spd freak either. He has 1 really good ability, but I don't expect him to be a dynamic player between the 20's.

Talk about a terrible take.  Treadwell was unbelievably slow on tape, and his Combine showed that.  Treadwell lived off being able to out physical opposing DBs.  That's not Odunze's game.  Like at all.

Don’t see how he is different. Odunze is definitely gonna be a low 4.5 guy IMO. I have watched a lot of Rome & he reminds me of Laquon/Jaelen Strong. 1-trick ponies. Rome rarely finds himself open underneath and especially rare is him working the intermediate, which is 90% of the NFL. And he isn’t a good enough athlete to consistently stack NFL CB’s deep in man-man.

Treadwell was clunky as hell.  There was no movement skills at all.  He was a basketball player playing football.

He absolutely had character concerns at Georgia.  Plenty of personal fouls, losing his cool on-field, and overall stupidity.  As a georgia and Bengals fan, I didn't want him....at all.  He also had a few dust-ups with teammates that Kirby managed to sweep under the rug.  Having watched Carl Pickens throw tantrums in Cincy, it wasn't hard to imagine his kid being an entitled punk with bigger outbursts.

Can someone give me NFL comparisons for the top WR's in this class?

Marvin Harrison: AJ Green - Thin but plays strong, great ball skills and body control, fast, very polished.

Malik Nabers: Terry McLaurin - Well built, strong, not overly long, great at stacking defenders and ball tracking.

Rome Odunze: Courtland Sutton - Good size, not athletically overwhelming, good ball skills.

Troy Franklin: Marvin Jones - Thin, fast, quick, good ball skills.

I thought it was a great WR class and we're getting Terry, Sutton and Marvin...

First, McLaurin is an excellent receiver. Second, I'm gesturing more toward physical archetypes and skillset than production or career comparisons. Last, I left out Coleman, who I think is a top prospect, but I do not have a comp for him yet.

Tee Higgins

I feel like Coleman is more explosive and an all around better athlete than Higgins. Higgins wins with good movement skills for his size, length, and ball skills. I think Coleman wins more with speed, quickness, and size. If I had to give him a comp today, it would be Kenny Britt.

Britt more athletic than Higgins? Coleman is the same alpha as Higgins on contested catches. I'm an FSU fan, I've watched plenty .... he is more explosive than Higgins but I'm not willing to lower the bar to Britt for a comp is all. I don't really see any comp that could be closer (keep in mind it doesn't have to be 1 of 1).
