Our choices are: 1. Aaron Rodgers for 4 more years, 5 max with no improved draft capital and a weak cap situation. 2. An insane influx of draft capital with a chance to get our QB for the next 12 years and an incredibly healthy cap situation. Nobody seems willing to accept that Rodgers has 4 years left, 5 max with probably only 3 of him being the Rodgers we know and expect. Rodgers does not turn 30 in December. He turns 35 in December. We have seen zero evidence of Rodgers being able to play the type of game a 39 year old QB has to play to be effective at 39 years old. I'd rather have Tom Brady at 42 than Aaron Rodgers at 39. Nobody is willing to accept it because its not based on anything factual. Of course you'd rather have a 42 year Tom Brady over a 39 year old Rodgers, you've stated on multiple occasions that you hate Aaron Rodgers and that he's your least favorite Packer. QBs have less than a coin flip chance of having success in the NFL. Substantially more of them fail than have success. That isn't an opinion that is a fact based on an insane failure rate of NFL QBs. You want to turn the Packers into the Cleveland Browns where draft capital means more than anything including winning. If the Browns have proved anything over the last 7 years its that 1st round QBs fail more than they hit and it doesn't matter how many 1st round picks you have you are as good as your QB. Option 1 in a land slide. Quality QBs are far to hard to find, much less all time greats. I don't understand how some think that finding a franchise QB is one of the easiest thing in all of professional sports.

Trading Rodgers only makes sense if we already have a replacement QB in hand. Draft capital really means jack when theres a good chance you could spend 3 first rounders and not get a top tier QB let alone a replacement for a hall of famer.

MacReady
That's just great. Now who are we going to have unrealistic expectations for at WR?

Probably needs 5+ redzone TDs to earn extra money.
