Brat&Beer
Bakhtiari had a pretty remarkable interview with Aaron Nagler last January after the season ended. It kind of confirms my hunch that if the knee isn't good by now, it probably never will be. https://cheeseheadtv.com/blog/david-bakhtiari-wants-you-to-know-whats-up-212

{Family Ghost}
If that knee doesn't come around when is the soonest the Packers can move on? Spotrac lists 2023 as a possible out, but if Bak retires how does that affect us salary cap wise? I'm thinking the Packers were doing a little CYA at the draft this year when they added three guys that played left tackle in college. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/green-bay-packers/david-bakhtiari-12390/

Players hardly ever break it down like that with major injuries- excellent stuff... A good sign is Nagler feels good about Bakti next year, so I'm gonna go with that, too. Maybe a little bit. But Packers love to draft guys who played LT and then move them inside. Colledge, Lang, Tretter, Runyan.

Brat&Beer
Packers can move on from Bakhtiari at any time. They would have 11.5 million in dead cap each of the next 3 years. They would have cap savings of 1.8, 17.5 and 21.5 million in those years. https://overthecap.com/player/david-bakhtiari/2377

Packerraymond
Roster back to 89. This was unexpected. I figured Benkert might be a long term backup here.

Leader
Kurt Benkert - I appreciate everything that came with being a Packer. Equally as excited to see what’s next, can’t wait to get to work.
