swede700
Quote Washington Commanders cornerback William Jackson III has requested a trade and general manager Martin Mayhew possesses an interest in meeting Jackson’s wishes, according to multiple reports. Jackson could be dealt before the Nov. 1 trade deadline. Postseason contenders could upgrade their secondary by trading for Jackson. We’ve swiftly identified three potential landing spots. MINNESOTA VIKINGS The Vikings own the league’s 22nd-ranked pass defense. They’re allowing opposing offenses to throw for 249.4 yards per contest. Jackson also possesses several connections to Minnesota’s defensive coaching staff. Vikings defensive backs coach Daronte Jones worked in the same role alongside Jackson in Cincinnati for two additional seasons (2018-19). https://thedraftnetwork.com/william-jackson-iii-trade-request-washington-commanders/
vikingsrule
Haven’t really followed Jackson but upgrading Peterson shouldn’t be difficult. Dantzler seems like he might be turning the corner a little to at least mediocre. What would Jackson cost in a trade?

SemperFeist
ESPN’s Barnwell suggested that the Vikings trade for Chargers’ CB Michael Davis. Quote Signed to a three-year, $25.2 million extension before the 2021 season, Davis is in a curious situation with the Chargers. He was an every-down corner in the slot last season, but after Los Angeles signed Bryce Callahan and J.C Jackson this offseason, his role has disappeared. VikeManDan
Hopefully getting Booth back will provide a little boost and depth to the secondary. I was a little surprised they didn't make a run at one of the CBs that had some connections to Donatell last offseason.

They can always make it work, especially since all the dead money would go to Washington. They'd only be on the hook for somewhere around $3.5M this season. vike daddy
The Vikings must not be currently satisfied with the current depth at tight end because they did bring in three tight ends on a tryout basis on Thursday, including one that has been with the organization before in Brandon Dillion. Dillon spent the last three seasons with the Vikings organization having played in five games and catching one pass for six yards. They also brought in veteran James O’Shaughnessy who spent five of his seven years with the Jacksonville Jaguars logging 112 catches for 1,108 yards and three touchdowns in his seven-year career. The last is Sammis Reyes who was a 2021 undrafted free agent out of Tulane. The native of Chile played in 11 games for the Washington Commanders last season, including starting one of them. https://vikingswire.usatoday.com/2022/10/13/vikings-tight-end-tryout-thursday/?utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR0FCuIcu3TuuCnVNjNOI6IJdpKH7jj1yuN8AYd9bFaWodokIBj9uKy0Ac8
AP_allday2869
I predict we trade for a TE before the deadline. We need the depth, and we could definitely upgrade Irv, if possible.
