We can replace Hand and Carrasco. We’ve kinda done that already. Losing Santana will suck defensively, but I trust Franmil to more than compensate offensively. Franmil is already better offensively. Our depth as a whole is what will be hurt when we lose those 3. However, we have guys that can fill in for them as starters. Don’t get me started on Frankie. He’s impossible to replace. We lost Corey Kluber, Trevor Bauer, and Mike Clevinger. That would kill most franchises. However, we have the best pitching + defense in baseball. I would like a 'win now' piece and 2-3 good--not just average 4 years away--prospects. Like if they could get another Franmil Reyes type plus another top tier prospect in return I would be happy. That might be too rich for them, but I would swing for the fences and get 2-3 GOOD starters in return. Just look at the Mookie Betts trade for a comparison. They got 1 top 25ish prospect, and another top 100 guy, plus a couple others.
