If you could have one player from any Divisional Rival?

If you could have one player from any of your Divisional Rivals, theoretically weakening their team and strengthening yours, who would it be?

Indianapolis Colts

JJ Watt - Houston Texans

Not much needs to be said about this one. Watt is an absolute beast and one of the best defensive players in the league. Being an elite pass rusher he would instantly improve the Colts Defense. Injuries are a concern but when he's on the field he's an absolute game changer.

Denver Broncos

Phillip Rivers - Los Angeles Chargers

So why have I gone for Rivers who's nearing the end of his career whereas Oakland have Derek Carr who's pretty highly rated and KC have their potential franchise QB of the future in Pat Mahomes?

Rivers though older is still a top QB and proven in this league. Whilst Carr is highly rated he hasn't done it as consistently as Rivers (yet) and Mahomes has no real NFL sample yet so it's not clear how good he can or will be.

Elway for some reason feels the Broncos are in win now mode, Rivers hasn't won a Superbowl yet so this match could work. Our D isn't the elite one we had when Peyton came but motivation would be there, he'd certainly boost the offence and also would significantly weaken the Chargers, who I feel are the current favourites for the AFC West division.

Only reason I'd question picking Watt is because you just dont know how many games you get

Texans:

Taylor Lewan - I originally had Jalen Ramsey here, and was going to mention that the pick could change if the Colts manage to snag Saquan Barkley. This being said, Lewan is a top 10 talent at LT, which happens to be the biggest need for the Texans. He's a big bully out there, which is something the Texans' OL needs in terms of attitude and disposition.

Eagles:

1st choice - Ezekiel Elliot. I love the way the dude plays football. Old school ground and pound. Eagles were heavily favored to draft him before they moved up for Wentz. Sad that he went to the Cowboys because I have to root against him now.

2nd Choice - Sean Lee. There is no linebacker in the game that is like him. When he's out - which is often, he's the only defender who has the biggest impact on the game overall. Dak didn't throw for 300 because Sean Lee wasn't in the game. Most Likely.

Cowboys - DeMarcus Lawrence.

Eagles love their DEs. Make it much easier to cut ties with Bennett. Don't want the headache that is Zeke especially when RB's are very interchangeable in our schemes.

Redskins - Jordan Reed.

Eagles like to use multiple TE sets, obviously we'd want to pick up a blocking specialist as well, but Ertz and Reed would be one hell of a TE duo.

Giants - Landon Collins.

We could use some new safeties TBH, youthful ones are good.

Adding Aaron Rodgers would be great. But I wouldn't want to pay Kirk $30m for the next 3 years to be a back-up. And I'm not near worried enough about Green Bay to have the intention to weaken them.

In the end, I'd go with Green Bay's elite LT David Bakhtiari. We could move Riley Reiff to RT and have the following OL:

LT: Bakhtiari / LG: 1st round rookie / C: Elflein / RG: Remmers / RT: Reiff
