this is really an amazing stat post.

I almost want to start a poll, who would you take between Embiid and Jokic for your fav team. Embiid is more talented, but Jokic gets the edge at making teammates better.

For Boston and their many need the ball players it would be Jokic.

It's really not. He doesn't average more points than Kyrie, nor assists than Harden, nor rebounds than AD, nor steals than Giannis. Is Jokic an extremely versatile stud? Absolutely. Are those stats dumb? Absolutely.

Marcus Smart is shooting 36% on 3PTers. Last year I said I was sure Smart was gonna be a solid shooter, looks like it was a year too early.

So you're saying 36% is solid?

If Marcus Smart actually only took smart shots you get it, he would shoot 46% but he takes some of the dumbest shots I've ever seen

36 percent is league average. So yes. Solid.

league average has been about 36% for a couple of years, so yes, 36% is solid

Stats can be so so misleading which is why I always go by my eye test first. Example Marcus Smart is often totally uncovered as they double-team off of him his 36% is often wide wide open and he just can't hit them regularly other players who shoot 36% will do it with a hand in their face so based on that Marcus Smart is not a good 3-point shooter and it will never be in my eyes

He's shooting 38.3 percent on catch-and-shoot 3s.
