Last October was start of bear market

Small recovery wont last long... headed for short recession and correction here, probably get back on track in 2021

If this "bear market" just means that over 3 years we're more or less flat in the S&P 500, I'll take that every time and twice on Sunday.

Even if this is the case for me, I've stopped putting extra into the market until January 2021 (when I will resume) because my wife and I are building our home currently. We locked into a 3.3% interest rate (5-1 ARM) and hope to refinance in the next 5 years to a 15 year mortgage.

I just signed a new 3 year contract, so we should have a clearer picture of our personal finances in 2021/2022 anyway.

Since I have a pension that I pay into and heavily investing into mutual funds has been put on pause for another 15 months, I personally don't care, especially since I never will/plan on dipping into my investments until I retire in almost 30 years anyway.

@ramssuperbowl99 any other advice?

I hear it every day. The market could actually collapse rn and it’ll still be higher than when he first started saying this.

Not true.  Market is up exactly zero percent the last 18 months with another 15% to fall.  Meanwhile missions portfolio up 25% in that time period
