I would switch Rams (14-2) and Saints but otherwise I agree with it.

Glad to see some Saints Super Bowl predictions in here. I must say it would be amazing to see Brees win another Super Bowl, and would bring me even more joy to see the Saints do so in Mercedes Benz Stadium by winning the first Super Bowl there :D

No way the Saints play in the Superbowl because Blank will blow up the stadium before allowing it :D

By my model, if the playoffs started today, the Los Angeles Rams would lead the way with an 18.48% chance to win Super Bowl LIII. The only problem is that we still have half the year to play.

My predictions:

AFC

1. New England

2. Kansas City - loses on head-to-head record

3. Pittsburgh

4. Houston

5. Los Angeles Chargers

6. Cincinnati

NFC

1. Los Angeles Rams

2. New Orleans

3. Chicago

4. Philadelphia

5. Carolina

6. Seattle - beats Minnesota on head-to-head win

Wild Card Round:

Pittsburgh (3) over Cincinnati (6)

Los Angeles (5) over Houston (4)

Chicago (3) over Seattle (6)

Carolina (5) over Philadelphia (4)

Divisional Round:

New England (1) over Los Angeles (5)

Kansas City (2) over Pittsburgh (3)

Los Angeles (1) over Carolina (5)

New Orleans (2) over Chicago (3)

Conference Championships:

New England (1) over Kansas City (2)

New Orleans (2) over Los Angeles (1)

Super Bowl LIII:

New England over New Orleans

(I'm obviously a little biased).

The Saints are a really good team, but their schedule is significantly more difficult than the Rams. I still think that the Rams get the #1 seed. If somehow the Saints indeed becomes the #1 seed it would have meant that they beat the significant majority of the good teams in the NFL, and they very well could be a team of destiny.
