If they can get that fixed, they should be able to have a shot at it. Passrushers lol?? Of all the things they need, passrushers? They had literally the best group of passrushers in the league this year. And they already had a shot at it this year. The team was good enough to win a SB. No shame in losing in OT to guys whove been to the super bowl 10 times in a row. He was favored at home with the league mvp against a team that has been garbage on the road this season

Aside from Ford showing up with the offsides, Brady had a clean pocket most of the 4th and OT.

So what? They had the best group of passrushers in the league. The Pats Oline is one of the best in the league and Brady was taking minimal time releasing the ball. The problem was the coverage in general. Maybe some blitzes would have helped but this has nothing to do with having more passrushers. Did you watch the Colts game? The Colts Oline couldn't handle the passrush.

AlNFL19
I think his best chance is 2021 because that's my guess for when Brady's gone and the Pats tank for a top pick.
Habbsawce
He has to get rid of Sutton, they will have a lot of trouble winning with him. He's horrendous.

That was likely a combination of Brady getting the ball out quick all game and sustaining long drives, forcing the defense to play a ton of snaps. Fatigue was probably setting in at that point. I don’t think what you saw was a personnel issue. Nor do I think you should come to that conclusion after one game, let alone 2 quarters.
SBLIII
If it happens, it has to happen next year. The Chiefs will be competent with Mahomes every year but I feel like more in the 10-6 range most years when they have their top players on huge contracts. Next year these players are still on rookie deals so it's their chance. After that it will get much tougher.
Nads786
Next year they will get to the Super Bowl. Mahomes is a unreal QB talent. The way this guy throws the ball is something I haven't seen since Rogers.

That means youre even and are getting a bump for homefield. Patriots were not huge underdogs, and have been there before. Nobody likes them, but theyre not underdogs. That MVP is a 2nd year player in his first ever playoff series against a mastermind defensive coach. Not a chokejob, just lost to a better team. It happens. And bringing up the regular season loke it means anything to the patriots lol.
