I knew it was low, not that low though. Makes me scratch my head... was he injured at all? I don't recall any reports of it.

Think it's related to the field condition against Oakland.  Neither he nor Gmo played a snap.

  • Allen Lazard 75
  • Darrius Shepherd 72
  • Trevor Davis 48 (100% in week 2)
  • Jmon Moore 39
  • Jake Kumerow 39
  • Equanimeous St Brown 25
  • Teo Redding 9
  • Geronimo Allison 8
  • MVS 8
  • J. Davis 7
  • Malik Taylor 6

Or they know what they have and aren't willing to show it to the rest of the league. Particularly the Bears and Vikings.

I'm not arguing this and maybe you are right, but I find it odd they'd be so confident with a 2nd year 5th round pick.

By year two the round you were drafted in is irrelevant. I think they know the kid can play, has improved his craft and will be a major weapon. At least that is my hope! xD

Crap, you are right. Brain fart, didn't see the Ravens game so I forgot to include them.

Thanks for catching it!

Good catch, it's the same number of snaps for MVS as for Allison, which it should be. They must not have thrown the ball in his direction much, if it all, though the sample size is too small for that to mean anything. I do think that MVS is the most significant mystery in our WR rotation. We know what we have in Adams, and I'm confident that Allison will be solid if he stays healthy. There has been a lot of debate about guys 4 through whatever in the rotation, which is a legit topic of discussion, but I think MVS is the biggest factor in whether this will be a really good WR group or just an average to below average one. Will he be the player who looked so good early last season, or the one who disappeared in the second half of the season? Does Aaron Rodgers trust him? I haven't heard Rodgers say anything about him either way. MVS could potentially be a beast or he could potentially be a lukewarm option #3 or worse for Rodgers. We just don't know.

I imagine it probably took about six minutes into the first camp practice before the team realized he was That Dude.

My brain says not to trust my eyes because 1200 yards is bordering on elite production and that's not a fair expectation. Let's be happy with 65/800/6

My eyes say that there's about 6 CBs in the league that aren't starting on their backfoot against that guy. That the staff has worked out some of his issues at the line. That he's got some chemistry with Rodgers not, and that Rodgers is going to get back to being a BAMF. I'm buying the MVS stock.

Love the way the guy catches the ball, like a giant praying mantis who runs fast.

MVS had 581 yards on 38 catches last year. 15+ yards/reception. I think it's feasible that in this offense that number goes up or stays the same.

He catches 65 balls were most likely looking past 1000 yards. I'd trust your eyes.

Would you apply those same criteria to the posters here denouncing the WR group ?
Opinions vary, but some are worth more than others

I am not sure what you are asking.

Am I supposed to critique the forum posters?
