2019 Bold Predictions

It's that time of year. With kickoff for the season less than 48 hours away, I feel it's only right to give our annual bold predictions for the season. I'll start with my somewhat homer prediction.

Derrick Henry will rush for 1800+ yards(first since DeMarco Murray in 2014) and at least 20 rushing TDs (first since LT in 2006) this season.

With Miami's recent moves, they have #1 locked down imo.

Alright, i'll actually make it bold.

Bengals win 7 games.  4 or 5 more than most think they can, and get third in the division.

Also:

  • Ben and the Steelers don't miss a beat without Antonio Brown
  • Antonio goes for less than 1200 yards
  • Matt Ryan leads the NFL in touchdown passes
  • Leveon Bell leads the league in combined rushing/receiving touchdowns
  • Browns implode and win 8 games, Steelers win the division again (that last part is not bold i realize)
  • Packers have a resurgence and win their division with 11 wins
  • Colts still win the South

Is this a bold prediction if I predict that the Dolphins will win 5 games this year?

Not with Fitzy at the helm.  They could start 5-2, and finish 5-11 and i would call that the perfect Ryan Fitzpatrick season.

OK here goes.

The Falcons will make it to the NFC title game (if they are luckier with injuries than they were last year).

The Seahawks will win the NFC West division not the Rams (I sincerely hope I'm wrong).

The Patriots will not reach the Super Bowl this season (doesn't get much bolder than that surely).
