A really solid linebacker, great against the run and is ascending to be a good pass defending LB. Backup for years, got a lot more time last season. Great in run coverage, but in past years struggled against the pass. This year, he ended up playing well when our starters went down, especially showing a lot of improvement against the pass. For your sake I hope you're getting 2019 version! He was a huge liability in coverage and in open field pre 2019 as he was always 2 steps too slow to ever get to where he needed to be, but played really well in 2019 when Trevathan got injured. This is great news, we have a GM who is ready to move on from a bad pick. This gives me confidence he'll be able to make the correct decisions in the future as well. I really don't think Teddy is all that great, but with our defense we can get us to the playoffs. I think Teddy's ceiling is Alex Smith. You've basically heard it from the others, but he was also a decent blitzer as well. I'd have liked to move him to OLB, re-sign Trevathan, and trade away Floyd.
