All I know is the dream of taking over for JC for my pre-draft favorite and now Browns Practice Squad player Willie Wright is holding on by a thread. Brown has G/C versatility. They could both make the roster unless we draft another interior OL.
DaWg_LB.
How do folks feel about giving Hubbard a shot at OG? Now his contract makes a little more sense...

Man I been saying that for weeks but everyone shot it down because of the Contract I definitely think he could start at guard between Tretter and Conklin he played guard in Pittsburgh he wouldn’t be amazing but he’d probably start

I think he’s likely the “6th man” on the OL, first off the bench at either tackle or G. Iirc he played a bit of G for PIT.

Kiwibrown
Currently he is our 4th best olinemen. Hopefully by September he is the 6th or 7th.

I mean, Bitionio Tretter and Conk are no brainers. But I'd argue it's likely Teller does better at RG this year than Hubbard did at RT last year. Heck if you told me I could only keep 6 linemen who are currently under contract with us, Hubbard would be my last on/first off right now (depending on Lamm's health and the coaching staff's opinion on the two). I'd keep Forbes and Teller over him.
brownie man
The more I think about it We should trade for Trent Williams if we can get him for Houston’s third. then at 10 think about all the possibilities if we trade down we can make that pick back up and more while still solving our immediate tackle problem. We can still draft a developmental guy later and get more assests for example trade Houston’s pick for Williams at 10 trade down to New Orleans for Jordan Love for Pick 24 2nd rounder 5th rounder 2021 second rounder just for example. We could really get some value out of pick 10. Still get a tackle, and have a stud LT at least for a few years

Fatgerman
Evan Brown is crazy athletic for oline. 36" vert, anyone??
candyman93
I’m still on board of trading for Trent. You can still get Matthew Peart if you want a developmental project. The defense would get a major boost of talent from the 2020 class. Edited March 26, 2020 by candyman93
